We welcome ADAM HUSLER sharing a Workshop “Refining Your Vinyasa + Heavenly Hips”
Time – Saturday 2nd April 3.00pm. to 5.30pm Special Price $60B’DOS/$30US ( $70 after March 30th if spaces remain)
Workshop Description
Adam is combining 2 of his most popular workshops in to 1, as a special for Barbados!
We may have gone to hundreds of vinyasa classes, but in these 75 minute affairs, slotted precariously in to high energy weeks, we move from asana to asana without having time to truly; explore the pose, understand the pose, take it deeper or acknowledge the sensations of the body.
Through the first half of the workshop you will;
– Consider key anatomical principles and how they apply to your asana practice
– Ask why you do what you do and question habitual patterns.
– Explore the alignment, anatomy and intention of common postures, potentially feeling them in entirely new places. Those ‘easy’ poser can get harder as you explore the nuances!
– Learn to become more engaged, attentive, integrated and focused in our asanas.
In the second half of the workshop, we will practice a vinyasa based sequence, focusing on finding flexibility in the stiff bits and strength in the weak and loose bits; particular in the hips. Along with more traditional asana, we’ll explore the difference between passive and active range of motion and dive in to deep static poses. Holly Husler will the help you0 drift in to a deep savasana with her signing voice.
